Design Your Own Wordpress Template
The easiest way to start designing your own Wordpress template is to start with a very simple template which has all the superfluous material removed but keeps the essential code to make the blog work. There are two templates like this: Naked or Starkers. They are both excellent starting points for creating your own template.
