How to Take a Screenshot of the iPhone Desktop
Someone asked me how to take a screenshot of the iPhone desktop. It is very easy to do although a bit of a hidden feature of the iPhone.
Open up the application or web page you wish to take a snapshot of.
Press and hold down the Home Button at the bottom center of the iPhone. Then press the On/Off Button at the top of the iPhone while still holding the Home Button. The screen will flash and you will hear the camera shutter.
The image will now be with your photos in the Camera Roll section.

I came across your post via tuxmachines… Nice site.
Thanks for the iPhone screen shot tip, I did not not know you could do that. I wonder what other hidden talents it has…??
Have been using Ubuntu for about two & half years now, It’s been an interesting learning curve & a thoroughly enjoyable one too. Good luck with your experience with it.

Thank you for visiting my blog, Yanski. The IPhone is great. So much power in such a little bundle and the new video feature is cool too.
I hadn’t heard of tuxmachines but thanks for letting me know about it. I am still a very new user of Linux but I am enjoying the experience which I probably would never have had if Vista hadn’t blown up on me! Now when I go on my computer I want to use the Ubuntu environment instead of Windows and probably becoming a bore to my friends as I sing its praises.
